you could always go the "whoops cauldren tipped over" route, non bogsneak becomes bogsneak, keeps old personality baldwin definitly isn't a loner, doesnt he have a bunch of apprentices in canon? also i usually ignore the lore 'cause like, imperials are way too pretty for me to limit my lair to only a few
Also is it just me or does the art for bogsneaks actually come across as super friendly and approachable? They look like a dragon you'd wanna pal around with, they're very goofy and lovable looking
yeah they dont seem like loners i imagine them loafing around by laying in a big squish pile they seem like those nanny dogs. the big fluffs that you leave your kids with a la peter pan
/pops out of nowhere to remind ppl that there is no such thing as nanny dogs and u shouldn't leave children unattended w/ any dog breed cuz anything can happen even tho y'all almost certainly know about already because Sperg Brain will not let me pass this by (many apologies)

I LOVE THE FEMALE BOGSNEAK! Just...look at all my fan dragons. Her Imperial Condescension looks so smug that I can't handle it. GAH I CANT BREEDCHANGE HER SHES AN IMPERIAL >>; Peridot looks amazing god..she's almost got her canon hair... Fem-vantas still manages to look aloof, even though the Bogs are such goofs. AUGH SKY IRI LOOKS SO GREAT ON THOSE WINGS HELP. Another one I can't breedchange because she's a Wildclaw and paired with a Coatl >>;

(or their silly, droopy necks, in the case of the females) I'm dyinggg over these things, I've been through my lair like three times, and I still haven't picked a dragon to bogsnek, I love them all (plus a lot of my homestuck dragons are constrained by accents, so... transformers dragons, looking at you) I checked out my progens as bogsneks, and I love them both to pieces. But I shelled out for wildclaw scrolls for those two. So... I shouldn't....... but I want to............... but I really shouldn't--
i think im going to make my gen1 project a bog but i just impulse bought multiple bogsnek accents, which means i need at least 3 'snoots i need to get another lair expansion
