Don't put Meditate on a physical attacker; it leaves the caster with a huge debuff to physical attacks like Scratch and the Slashes. That's why it's only recommended for mages. ETA: I sent you some things! If you want any more things from the Marketplace, I have a discount due to Arcane having dom this week. Slash deals good damage and gives the enemy a damage-over-time debuff, so it's good on your fighters.
Thanks for the advice/stones! I'm trying to get my main dragons all up to 11, while getting my newer dragons that I plan to exalt up at higher levels. (I think they're all at 4 now.)

@OtherCat Does your Flight Dominance Forum have a battlestone bank or something? Arcane has a First Arcane Bank which has links to threads for getting battlestones, funding the bank, and so on, but I don't know what Shadow has in its private Dominance forum.
I don't know. I haven't really checked out the dominance forum. Though I did find a few guides for stones.
If it's anything like Arcane dominance, there's a thread somewhere that has a mixture of free battlestones, raffles, and sometimes half-price ones.
couple kids! first one's for sale (pwyw, AH price is just a suggestion and kintsugi peeps can pay whatever), second one is sold, i just thought he was especially pretty
@OtherCat The problem is that if you ignore the guides and just go for making well rounded dragons stat wise, it takes FOREVER to level them. I brought my own tank/healer/dps team up to 25 when I first joined but it took me months. It is fun to play around with the stats and abilities at first, but if you do start to get frustrated and bogged down at higher levels, I suggest you hit up the guides. How to Train your Dragon is the best one, but only if you have eliminate, it'll tell you the optimal stats for each level your dragon achieves, very simple. Exalting dragons is the main way to make money on Flight Rising, so the community has got it down to a science. For example, with my Mire Flyer I can train two dragons up to level 6 in 6-8 minutes, that kind of cash adds up fast. The only problem is that Eliminates are so expensive because the drop rate was drastically reduced and all the best builds need it. I have no idea how a new player is going to get 400kt to pay for one unless you want to buy gems. The water flight has a battle bank in water sales section, you might try the same forum on your flight if you are hankering for some cheap eliminates. here's what some of the builds look like on my dragons. Spoiler: image heavy Kelp Beds, also works in other venues with another dragon with the same stats and on exalt fodder. Golem Workshop, needs to be paired with a tank to train fodder Mire - trains two fodder at a time in the Mire, all by her lonesome self. I'm not sure how long you've been playing FR, but a decent way to make money is by spending a couple hours in the fairgrounds. It's pretty easy to make 20-30kt on shockswitch or Artifracture. That will help you make money for battlestones.
Something that also works for making money is brewing down cheap materials from say the training grounds and selling the alchemy mats in the AH. Especially the rarer color can go for nice money. (also if you have a fast internet connection, flipping dragon during dom fights can be very profitable in the 'adds up quickly' kind of way but it does require some attention paying to the game all over and the AH specifically.)
Absolutely nowhere have I said I'm ignoring the guides. I did say at one point that I hadn't gotten around to them yet, but nowhere did I indicate that I was ignoring them, and I did eventually read them. I didn't even know about them until I was told here. I am currently using one of the guides as a template for stat allocation, as I've mentioned in other posts. I've just been playing for a couple weeks. I am sorry for asking so many questions here, I felt safer about asking questions here than the FR forums, but I suppose this was not the best place after all? :\
Still using the 4 parts Strength/2 parts Quickness/ 1 part Vitality formula I got from the How to Train Your Dragon Guide. (I am not following all the advice, because it seems to involve grinding, and I don't handle fast paced "go go go now!" situations very well, which is why I don't actual video games very well. I prefer going slowly, because that's more interesting/distracting/occupying. Using the formula I've really leveled up my new dragons really fast, and had a lot more fun doing it. I also somehow managed to get more familiars as loot than I did with my pre-formula dragons. :/ I have no idea how that happened. (With the pre-formula dragons I've basically attempted to follow the formula, but I'm also trying maximize their stats for the stones I gave them.) In other news, Vega Coyote gave me a triple sanguine Imperial male, and on him, Thylacine looks fine. Sadly, Thylacine looks like steamed crap in combination with any of my current female dragons. :\ So, Justinian is not going to have a Guardian girlfriend any time in the near future.
@OtherCat I wasn't being accusatory, I just thought I'd give you and overview of fr coli and your options. It's totally fine to go slow and pick at coli by trial and error, you can play FR however you want. Right now White slime is going for around 20kt a pop if anyone wants to get in on that.
You said I was "ignoring" the guides, which I wasn't doing. In fact, I adopted stuff from the guides I read, and with some help, was able to find the guides for the battlestones/what stat needs to be maxed for them. It was a little upsetting.
Shadow Dom: Newbies Edition Shadow Dom Mentorship Program Shadow Dom: Battlestone Bank Shadow Treasury hub @OtherCat no pressure to use/read/etc, but i noticed we were the same flight so here are our dominance resources
I went looking for them the other day, but thanks. :D I did some looking around and will go looking for help as needed. (Though the reason I was asking here was because I felt more confident here and the FR forum is very much an unknown and I am bad at social.)
