I am trying to get the hang of outfitting my dragons in outfits. Dirk! Who I bought recently. (I need to stop buying dragons when I still need to level the others.) I wanted to get him a steampunk silver vest, but they don't seem to appear very well on Guardians. I ended up giving the vest to Justinian: Kanaya, who is one of the first dragons I got apparel for. I got two of those rose items as loot drops and decided they'd look great on Jade.
Okay someone help a guy out, how even do hatchery pricing? For fodder I usually just average out the current lowest AH pricings for gene and breed combos, but... (pairings here if the specifics matter, hopefully obvious. Ignore Dawel and Magnus; I didn't feel like throwing away the XYX random progen it spat at me and she was a gift.)
Thoughts on Capsule? Female Guardians look like shimmery, abruptly cut off Underbelly to me with most of the colors I tried, and female Nocturnes have a similar problem. Baby Coatls look COOL, and so do Snappers, and female Spirals look like their stomach fluid is sloshing. High contrast between the "capsule" and the "fluid" colors seems to help, or else it kind of looks flat to me. Spoiler (Female Snipsnops are GOOD SHIT) The only part that really sucks is Spoiler: Gross Almost any yellow tert makes it look like they have a belly full of piss. I'M SORRY.
I wish I could like it better? Like, the announcement described it as a thin layer of fluid under the scales, but that doesn't match the actual look of it on most of the dragons I've seen while messing around with the scrying workshop. They look more like they're hollow and filled up. If it were more like the thin layer I might enjoy it more, but I keep getting a kind of body horror reaction. Spoiler: further body horror I also can't stop thinking about what if the belly popped like a water balloon and squicking myself out in the process. Edit: And normally I like body horror, but it's still bugging me for some reason? Idk. Maybe I'll get more used to it over time.

I will say I absolutely love the new jewelry, though. The muted shade on the gold set is really nice, and just from testing in the dressing room it looks like it will work well for dragons that other gold items clash on.
considering i already have a skin on just for this purposes and had him encrusted in shiny things beforehand, i'm glad to be able to buy a few pieces of the new jewelry for now and look forward to the full set. ENCRUST THE DERG IN SHINY THINGS
I also get squicked by the effect of capsule. It's nice enough, but I don't think I'll use it for any of my dragons. That said, WHERE IS GHOST OR POINTS.
