So i'm actually really happy with the RoR Skins for this year? A lot more variety than what we usually get and the apparel's not bad either though fieldtesting it on my Plague priest will have to wait till tomorrow.
Most of them aren't things I'd buy, but it is a better variety than usual. Also: the apparel is gr8, I think it's my favorite for Plague so far.
Lot of salt about all the imp winners, but yknow. ever consider that there were probably more imp ENTRIES than other things? cause imps have a lot of body space and are easier to design for? And people who plan on selling their non-winner entries, especially if they're talented/established artists, might incline more towards imperials than other breeds because, and hold the fainting couch, imperials are a really popular breed and thus easier to sell skins/accents for? But yeah I'm really pleased at the variety in the winners- if not in breed, than in design- they all look really distinct in inspiration and look!
I'm actually pleased enough with three designs that I might buy them. That's three more than I wanted last year. I consider that a success
Behold my good son and his fancy AF new apparel. Had to take the Rotclaw of him but WORTH IT. (I'm sitting on him for years now in the hope that they finally release Ghost so that i can give him a proper skullface)

from back when i was still in Shadow. :3c she's got Royal as a tert, it looks neat as capsule so im considering options. the random other one they gave me is p goddamn fugly, they can keep him. >w>;
im kinda laughing that i chose plague themed colors, i guess it kinda foreshadowed the move. (badum-tsss)
@TheMockingCrows aw she pretty :'3 the new plague apparel suits her! Also aw you'd be surprised :B my random has. INTERESTING colors that are pretty ugly on the surface but with a bit of elbow grease she is now Gorgeous (blood/goldenrod/rose????) Plus you could always scatter your random! But now with the new system, if you ever change your mind they'll be there for the restoring.
the other progen was a tundra and im not super wild about tundras. frankly I'd rather just count him as a loss that put all that work into him xD actually, the only tundra i've got is a new bab here that i'm 50/50 on keeping fluffy or making into a spiral
