ASSHOLE HORSE WON'T DIE HAS AUDACITY TO DODGE AN ELIMINATE ANGRY DRAGON YELLING CAN BE HEARD IN THE LOCAL GRAVEYARD. in other news I am getting a TON more familiar drops than I've ever had fighting any other venue.
Shit. Headache or not, I might have to put in some coli time just in case the drop rate is a fluke and it gets turned down later.
Well. RNG might've just favored me. I got four in the time it took for me to say "hey guys im lv 20" to "SUDDENLY IM LV 23" In mire I would have gotten maybe half that in the time I've spent.
ive never been a gen1 person but somehow i have like 3 gorg gen1s in my lair rn and im about to pick up another,,,, i mean!!! look at these colors!!!! [heart eyes emoji] the primary bleeds so well into the secondary and the tertiary brings out the accents in the secondary
Could be! It's worth a try, or at least until my headache drives me away. Oddly, my lv 25 dragons are gaining exp - and considerably more than they would in the mire for groups of three enemies. O_o
Your...level 25s? As in "my capped team"? is that why FR needs to go an extra hour into maintenance tonight? HMMS...
Yyyyep. I'm considering hurriedly dragging some trainees through. The extra hour is probably mostly due to Shadow festival starting tomorrow... maybe. >_> Shhh, no one tell them about capped dragons gaining loads of exp...
FR hasn't needed an extra hour for a festival before unless something neat was happening, so...hrffs. See if you can't get your team to 26, if they're keeping the exp theyre gaining. :o
Oh, I phrased that badly - their level bars aren't going up, but they still get exp as if they were level appropriate for the area, and way more than they would in areas they still get exp in. (Although I guess they might still get exp in a leve l23 area? But surely not THIS much.) I'll see if it applies to trainees who aren't capped, though. I really like the trinkets they put in this venue, like the delightful wooden unicorn, which is described as, "It takes a particular kind of hatchling to seriously refer to this menacing plaything as 'delightful'." @rats that is a gorgeous dragon! Great color coordination!
fwiw im not having the same xp issues with my own level 25s :OO tho the drop rate is definitely higher than it should be imo haha, gonna make hella bank before they fix it
@Mercury oh yeah thats normal! its a level 23 venue so there will still be xp "gained", just like how it you put your dragons in the mire with fodder they still gain xp
Blah, I misremembered then. (I... don't coli much, haha.) I thought they'd only gain exp if they were only one level above the recommended for the venue, not two. Still, good exp (groups of three and four rather than two or three helps), and the battles go faster than in the mire.
@Mercury they gain exp up to having a team member being four levels above. At five they're like "bruh"
Man, you're right, this is way smoother. And augh I love these designs, this new venue is probably going to tie with Crystal Pools for themes I like best. ...Now if only there was a way to combine them...
OH RIGHT. Haha, god, I feel dumb. XD I've only been playing this game for two and a half years, you think I'd remember that... It is definitely nicer to play than the Mire, though, and has the benefit of being full of cute ghosties* and NOT BEING THE FREAKING MIRE. (The Mire's main selling point for me anymore is that it's not the Arena.) * for versions of 'cute' that include rotting zombie monsters
Getting a bunch of loot after every battle is pretty nice, too. The food isn't anything too special (although the boss item is 16 food points! Is that common for boss food items?), but the trinkets are all really cool.
What? Who says these guys aren't cute? I mean the Lux and Aers are tiny puffs, but look at those floating skeletons! And those poofy vultures!
I think some people don't think bony things are cute. Those people are weird. (Gimme all the haunted skeleton monsters.)
