I have the unopened one, and I don't even expect to sell it for 7500 gems, because I clearly have a retired sales thread AND I know there's exactly one other unopened hat on the market (the blue one, I'm selling the red) for about 2k gems.

The salt in me wants to buy the other unopened hat and relist it for 7500 gems too.
