whoa i didn't know that was a thing but i wanna try it now like i don't think i've ever been anywhere that serves both chicken nuggets and honey
fruit sweet is fine, carrots don't taste especially sweet to me but are also okay.....basically any kind of sweet that is not "the thing was already sweet" is DO NOT WANT EXCEPT FOR BREAKFAST OR DESSERT. and this includes things like cookies or pancakes, because the ingredients don't start sweet, the thing is made to be sweet. similarly, if I'm accustomed to something not being sweet, like pizza, then I can't eat it if there's something sweet on it all of a sudden.
if you skipped breakfast or slept until noon, then that is breakfast otherwise I cannot do pancakes for lunch
Ooh, that's making me wonder about a food adjacent topic: meals! What defines a meal to others? Ex: if you skip breakfast or sleep late and eat your first meal of the day around noon, is that breakfast because it's first, lunch because it's noon, or dependent on what you eat, or something else? For me it's the last one.
The name of the meal is based on the time of day you eat it. However - that is contingent on your schedule. So if you wake at sunrise regularly and eat shortly after, the first eating is breakfast. But if you have a late day and wake near noon and eat, it's lunch. But if you wake at noon regularly, then the noon eating is breakfast. Then, think of being a nighshifter. You wake at sunset and the first meal would be breakfast while your family is having dinner. At the same time. :D
Broccoli is hands down the best vegetable. Broccoli and canned green beans are a+, lettuces and carrots are like, ok, and pretty much every other vegetable sucks
Steamed broccoli is pretty unenjoyable, but stir fried broccoli, delish. That slight crispiness adds something important.
Broccoli is a veg i like when cooked, i will eat it for the people who don't like it :P Also also: eggplant. There was this chinese restaurant that my mom and i used to go to like 10 years ago, they had this really good dish with eggplant and i was sad when they closed. Breaded fried eggplant om nom nom. Eggplant bhaji om nom. The texture of cooked eggplant is Good but i havent fried it in a few years because i couldnt get it to not taste weird.
My method of preparing broccoli is thus: -Prepare pasta (99% of the time I want broccoli, I'm gonna be putting it with pasta & alfredo sauce) -while pasta is boiling, cut up broccoli into edible chunks -when pasta has to boil 1-2 more minutes, put the broccoli in with the pasta - strain pasta and broccoli at same time -congratulations, your broccoli is no longer raw, but is not soggy either. devour.
i have never eaten a broccoli i did not enjoy :V also, i can't find it anymore, but has anyone else had brocciflower? delicious
I like steamed broccoli, but imo the trick is to only steam it enough to make if a little softer. If it gets mushy it affects the flavor and can be really gross. (But... I will usually still eat it, because I happen to really enjoy broccoli. XD) I don't like a lot of the "cheese sauce" type things that come frozen, the sauce tastes really weird to me. I actually don't really like broccoli with most cheeses anyway, except alfredo. Green beans with some melted cheddar is where it's at.
