nuts do not belong in any food that is not itself a nut, fight me
(although now I'm thinking of some weird nut turducken with cashews shoved into a walnut hull inside a chestnut casing)

That is incorrect. Peanut butter is wonderful (provided it's not put in the wrong stuff).

(to clarify, I mean delete peanut butter itself, not y'all's post. Eat it til it doesn't exist)

peanut butter must be carefully dosed
a little bit, balanced with chocolate or other filler food: gud
on its own: not so good

....tangentially, peanut butter cookie recipes: with or without flour? chocolate in the middle yes/hell yes?

If you mean chocolate baked into the center, then I can take it or leave it. However, if you mean with the Hershey Kiss in the center on top of the cookie? Not only is it adorable, it's Amazing.

Yes hello mods where is disagree button

Peanut butter cookies are the only exception to the rule. No flour, and MUST have pb chips inside

I have never tried this no flour you speak of :O

But also: try butterscotch chips. It's amazing. I don't even like butterscotch and I love it.

easiest recipe in the world to remember
    1 cup peanut butter
    1 cup sugar
    1 egg
it makes for a denser, more peanut-buttery cookie but it also means a LOT less cleanup and fewer steps for me to forget

All nuts and nut butter very good, especially on its own. Except Brazil nuts which can die off for all I care, bitter little tooth-cracking shits.

the only valid nuts are almonds, chestnuts and pistachio. Everything else can stay in low orbit of the sun where it belongs
peanuts, are the only invalid legume and are thus honorary nuts.

peanut butter m&ms inferior, soundwave caramel m&ms superior

also all legumes EXCEPT peanuts are invalid, crunch less offensive than Legume Texture

The thing I like about pb cookies is texture is chewy and flavor is more roasted nuts instead of sweet hell paste
