a nice creamy tomato bisque is GUD but especially if I have something pretzel-ish to dunk in it (KÄSELAUGENSTANGE) but I had garlic bread soup today and lemme tell you it's THE soup when it comes to being comforting and filling and (most importantly) cheap and easy to make. Zucchini cream soup for 'things i can make with three ingredients' and ideal summer soup cause light. a question: Is Chili A Soup?
It is! It's so a complete meal, so if I have a bad day or a long day and I am not in the mood for cooking I just open a giant tin of Snert and ten minutes later I have delicious and comforting food
I do that with Linseneintopf (Lentil stew, usually also with smoked ham and sausages in it) when life's been like really hard to me.
Linseneintopf is delicious. <3 One of the things I remember fondly from all my vacations to Germany as a teen
Ramen is definitely top soup if it can be considered a soup. I like pho too... Potato soup and borscht are other favourites.
my favorite soup is the one you make after Thanksgiving, closely followed by the one I make whenever I get sick, which has chicken and kale and red peppers and raisins and turmeric and cinnamon. Whenever I make soup it always comes out as more of a stew though because I have no sense of ingredient proportions.
i mean it is. supportive evidence: hot broth for drinking as is is sometimes referred to as 'meat tea'
cereal is a pretty decent soup :’D but uhh no my faves are potato and leek soup, homemade beef stew, homemade turkey noodle + dumplings soup, french onion, and clam chowder. i haven’t had non-cup ramen yet but it looks very good
A ramen is quite good, back before illness I had this veggie ramen with corn and greens and avocado in a joint in NYC that was divine. Udon in a soup form is probably my favorite, the kind with carrots and other veg and kamaboko and an egg and sometimes tempura, all in a light broth. After that it's various meat/veg soups and Hungarian mushroom stew.
