That is fair. I'm personally fine with it on buns because I just. Really like guacamole. I blame being Californian and having that and salsas as like just. Constants for dips and stuff to stick on other stuff. Oh. It goes so good with tortas too...

the avocado/guac toast discourse was so weird to experience as a californian

like it's just... a normal breakfast lmao...

They sell it at farmer's markets in Georgia for hefty prices. I get why. I do. Because they're like exotic here basically.

but also it is just guacamole on toast what is happening

Granted Georgia also has peaches that make me realize that peaches don't fucking suck so people here are probably baffled by my former virulent hatred of the things and utter bafflement that anyone could like them.

Opinion: Mayo needs to have a bit of a tang to it, otherwise what is the point?
Also avocado pudding good, if only it didnĀ“t require a blender

I've never had avocado pudding, but I have had avocado ice cream and it was very much Not For Me. It wasn't sweetened or anything XP

the sweetening is key though. It makes all the difference in avocado working in a sweet dish.

here is my hot choclety opinion: unless you are lactose intolerant/allergic/have a sensory trigger/cannot physically obtain milk/etc. then there is no good excuse to not use any sort of milk in your hot chocolate. if you use only water in your hot chocolate then don't even talk to me

controversial opinion: when making hot cocoa from scratch always use milk of course. however with cocoa mix, especially the cheap store brand stuff, I actually prefer making it with water and then adding a good amount of half and half. idk why but it tastes better to me that way. perhaps the milk powder plus actual milk is just Too Much Milk?

when I was a kid I used to put hot chocolate mix into a glass and pour cold milk on top of it... and then just gradually disrupted the powder at the bottom with a spoon. where I'd then eat bits of it as it floated up with the milk. it was very elaborate and I don't know how I didn't choke on the powder like people doing the cinnamon challenge

Probably because the mix is meant to dissolve fairly well in liquid, while cinnamon is not

if you're making cold 'hot chocolate' i will accept buttermilk as a substitute. But only for the cold variety. hot mut be made with milk

mind, it doesn't taste like choc powder chocolate milk, but it tastes verygood and is super refreshing in summer
