Does anyone else skip certain foods because they're Messy? Like, taste: good. Texture: good. Temperature: fine. But it's impossible to eat without making a mess

I'm talking watermelon, barbecue, ice cream from a cone, sticky candies, that stuff. I'll eat it in very controlled circumstances but otherwise I just tell people I don't like it since it's easier than "this food is too high maintenance, and I rather like this shirt". I do like these foods, I just don't want to eat them when I'm already very clumsy

Hot tea is good, but iced tea is better

I prefer it over hot tea. Especially the premade stuff we get in cartons over here in Europe

they are different genres of beverage. hot tea is to be compared to coffee or hot chocolate, iced tea is to be compared to juice or seltzer

Juice is a separate entity completely, and iced tea is to tea as iced coffee is to coffee. They are in their own kingdoms, but they're part of the same royal family

Where do smoothies go in your process? To me they land in "food", skipping the beverage section entirely

yeah, a smoothie isn't a beverage. neither is a milkshake. neither is a frappuccino.

I dont think I'll get any actual debate here, but I want to state for the record that totino's party pizzas are an abomination and should be wiped from the annals of time itself. Imperfect food, no good points. It's like if someone had only heard of a pizza and not actually seen one, and the descriptions left much to be desired

I try to like them. I really do. They're just so inconsistently consistent, if that makes sense? They always taste exactly the same; pasty, too sweet, crunchy outer and goopy center, no matter how you cook it. It's like tasting disappointment every single time. Id categorize it as an experience before ever considering it a food

tis the season! how do we all feel about eggnog? the real stuff is a bit much for me and raw eggs are just not ever going to be my thing, but I tried some made with oatmilk the other day and it hit the spot.

Egg nog! Consistency: good. Taste: phenomenal. Availability: I'll give it a pass, because absence makes the heart grow fonder! Amazing additive to coffee as well, and makes a magical ice cream flavor

I've never had it with alcohol though
