  2. So, the new experimental lays chip flavors are out. At my store we have taco, everything bagel with cream cheese, and fried green tomato flavors. Discuss?

They've done pretty well with the other experimental flavors (I will Fite for the cheesy garlic bread), so I assume for someone who likes any of those things they're alright :p

Now that fried green tomato chips exist I'm going to the store and going to buy at least three bags, no shame. I don't really have much interest in the other two - if I want a taco chip I'll eat doritos and an everything bagel just sounds unpleasant on potato.

Potato chips are gross, fite me

Less jokingly, fried green tomato sounds kinda good

Neither of those sound like supergreat but I blame the fact that I never had fried green tomatos and can't imagine what they'd taste like.

Greenies are generally less squish and more acid than regular toms. What frying does to them you'd have to ask someone who actually likes tomato :p

  9. Tomato is horrible, I can't imagine a tomato that isn't even ripe tasting any good.

There are varieties of tomato that are green when ripe! I assume they still taste like tomatoes, ie nasty, but.

Broccoli is the best veggie, or maybe cucumber, but I do love tomatoes.

Cucumber for Best Veggie, closely followed by a variety of gourds, but tomato is also an acceptable veggie of good standing and fine moral character.

My friends have broccoli growing in the garden and I've been consuming it like a ravenous but patient broccoli demon. I wish I could say garden fresh makes all the difference, but tbh if you don't like grocery store broccoli you probably just don't like broccoli.

Garden fresh red bell peppers on the other hand. Holy crap, it's like a slightly spicy tomato. So good. I ate three in one sitting.

I actually hate bell peppers, or I thought I did. That's why I'm so shocked.

Bell peppers are the WORST vegetable
(mushrooms are also bad but I don't class them as a veggie)
