The texture I object to is in any cooked spinach I´ve run into so far. I´d much rather just make salad with the leaves.
Bacon itself is a take-it-or-leave-it food but bacon wrapped things are really fucking good and superior to merely cooking the original thing as intended. Discuss.
Bacon wrapped goat cheese and bacon wrapped dry dates are fucking amazing and i wanna stuff my face with both.
There's a restaurant near us that does bacon wrapped feta and they are literally sold out of it every single night no matter how big they make their restock of cheese. edit: Also baking bacon-wrapped cabbage wedges with extra butter is probably a one-way trip to heart disease but it's also fucking delicious so I'm gonna keep doing it.
Bacon wrapped Brussels sprouts is literally the only way I'll eat them. Them saturated fatty acids amirite? That bacon wrapped feta sounds like the universe came together in one point to make heaven in my mouth ngl
Well, yeah, same, hence the "responsibly" Except I guess I don't eat bacon anymore, just a couple other types of cured meats
See, that's why i prefer bacon in things that blow my mind, like the bacon-wrapped, cream cheese-stuffed jalapenos my old workplace made. If I can only have it once in a while, it has better be worth it.
Heres a question: we make cornbread a lot in our house and about half the time we add whole corn kernels in the mix (precooked). Ive found many reactions to this, ranging from "this is the best way to make cornbread" to "why would you do that, you monster". Whats yalls opinion? Please no country girls make do memes
Absolutely the best way to make cornbread. Getting whole (cooked) corn kernels in the mix is a Gift, especially if it's sweet corn.
