i don't thiiiink we put garlic in our guac? my uncle's family recipe is the one we use, and it calls for onions, tomatoes, jalepeno, cilantro, and lime juice
I've had guac that had cream cheese in it. Was quite good but i don't think i'd class it as guac per se.
It's too damn hefty and overrated, agree. Whipped cream in various flavours is virtually always preferable.
Buttercream in reasonable proportions of icing-to-cake is great, but those froofy monstrosities with twice the weight of piped ruffled frosting to baked goods are an affront to God and the Devil alike But seriously anything except a nice light layer of orange buttercream on my carrot cake and I will end you.
I can't say it's the worst but it is fair that it's the worst type of icing. I feel like it's the candy corn of icing. It's good for the first little bit but just. Bad as you go on.
I feel like some of y'all are giving fondant far more credit than it generally deserves by putting buttercream on the actual bottom. It's used as icing, but it's primarily a construction material and tastes accordingly. Buttercream may not be as structurally sound, but it can at least be applied thinly enough to improve the taste of something, while fondant almost always only makes it look pretty.
I’m not the biggest fan of buttercream but fondant is basically edible rubber cement, i can’t even with it
I'm sorry it's fucking WHAT? Whomst the FUCK is using fondant and calling it icing? That. No. Absolutely not.
