"We've never done the holidays in a group. It's always been just us." Mischa grabs her purse, and tucks Kainze's phone and wallet into it. "Especially weird growing up with a Jewish family..." "At least they were open minded."
Freddie chuckles. "My folks are pretty devout Christians. They have no idea what my sister and I get up to. They'd probably pop a blood vessel." He leads them to the car. "But that's...pretty cool."
"Yeah... they were pretty chill." Mischa smiles, leading Kainze to the passenger seat and climbing in after him.
"We invite the cat, and the dead. So it's not really just us." Kainze says. "And then we go visit Dad the next day." Mischa says softly.
"Oh? That sounds nice." Freddie smiles. "But that's a really, really nice little ceremony you guys have."
"Hah. Well, for what it's worth, you can come by whenever..." He pauses. "Oh. And word to the wise... don't let any other mages know your real names. It can cause problems if they decide they don't like you."
"Tesla? Thunderbolts and Lightning?" Kainze asks. "We have chosen Witchy names... would those count?"
"That's fuckin' cooool!" "Foxglove." Mischa nods. "... I wrote that in my name on the tower though..." "Yeah I did that too." Kainze admits. "Not your name but my name..."
"...you do remember me mentioning knowing other crazy acanthus mages, right? They can certainly try. It's their tower, too. That aside, I've never heard of someone actually managing it, so. Grain of salt."
"Yeah. It can look different. Probably. But... one tower for each of the five. Acanthus, Obrimos, Mastigos, Moros, and Thyrsus."
"...they aren't schools. They're. More like archetypes? We have specialties. Thyrsus, like me, focus on Life and Spirit. Acanthus are linked to Time and Fate." He grins at them. "And... hm. I pulled your wallet out of your locker, Kainze. Do you think that's life or spirit?"
