"He's good." She nods. "He's got a full day of courses today... Biology, pottery and sculpting, art history, and creative writing. "
"Yeah. I'm going for some sort of science degree; I haven't decided which yet. I dunno what Kainze's plan is yet; but he's on a scholarship so he has to figure it within two years."
"...I guess I don't need to figure myself out for awhile, so it's okay." He shrugs. "I mean. I can probably go into some kind of trade? Or something."
"Really!?" She grins, excited for him. "That sounds like a fun job!! Where is it? Can you show me later? Does it have a lot of neat things or just furniture?"
"Uhm. One of my friends keeps buying half the stuff there, but there are some neat antiques and stuff?"
"Oh..." She tilts her head, thinking on this. Antique collector or another mage who can detect magical items... hmmm... She's still busy trying to process Nick's natural 'scent' and fit it... somewhere. "Your friend must have a lot of extra cash if they buy so much antiques. Unless they resell them on like EBay for more money."
"...Man, I don't check on where they get their money. I just..." He waves a hand. "They just have it."
"Hanging out with the boss' kid, babysitting my cousin, running wild in the night. The usual." He grins.
