One thing I will say about Furvilla: the memes are so dank I am having trouble parsing some of them because I'm not in the front line on some of them. But once I get the translation I realize that nearly everyone is already neck deep in it. o_o and they're specifically on this site only.
Refresher for some of them that I caught on to last night: if you see a star and Hail anything on it, it's from a thread being shut down. and then subsequently people were getting in trouble for Hail Satan stars from the thread, even as jokes. Then Hail Friendship star got taken down. They deleted the thing because they were afraid it was stepping firmly into the Not Allowed territory of their rules or was going to lead to/was already leading to MORE religious debates and/or people making fun of others. But Hail Friendship star being deleted was kind of incredible. They're cracking on most signature stars. Discourse survival status things. RIP memorials for banned shitposters. Cabbages. I think I saw someone start to put really humanoid painties in their signatures in "protest" of them not being allowed and they're not a meme but I'm totally fucking counting it bc holy shit the paintie drama is gold.
Yeah there was a thread, from what I read, where things were chill enough that aside from some trolls nobody was actually arguing or being vicious. Was talking about Satanism not being bad and wasn't actually being disrespectful, but was talking about it and Christianity and how that one is actually viewed as positive automatically while the other was auto-negative perception. People started putting stars that said "Hail Satan" in their signatures. Then they morphed into stars that said "Hail ___________" and it got out of hand and the mods started removing them. I think the thread itself got locked as well? I may be wrong, brain is fuzzy when remembering and not taking notes, but origin aside that's the star thing.

You say this but I've already seen three people with Neopets forum screenshots as their signatures. SPEAKING OF WHICH If you have horrible dinosaur eyes/a predisposition to migraines like I do, have a forum link to a style to force all forum posts into basic black medium text. I'm running it through Stylish, and it is a fucking godsend.
