Rachel and Jun’s cat Nagi broke a tooth. He’s okay, but if you don’t like medical stuff I’d give this one a pass. I’m linking it because with their other cats Haku (lorge) and Poki (loud), Nagi sometimes retires into the background a bit. It’s a great video for showing what a good and funny boy he is, and how much they care about him.

poor guy! but given that he has R&J as caretakers, and that he got such thorough medical attention, I'm confident that he'll recover well and live a happy life as a one-fang cat

 

I was really impressed about how... sounds like mostly Rachel decided they really should take him to another vet to get a second opinion because of concerns about the safety of the procedure. Then when both vets had the same opinion, they listened to what the vets had to say about safety and risk, as well as the risks of not doing anything, and went with the vet-recommended option. The video shows some of the safety measures taken to ensure Nagi was free of health issues that might make it more dangerous for him, which he was. It’s just such a good picture of two people doing their absolute best for their beloved cat, and how to listen to expert opinions but also do your due diligence. They really went above and beyond, and Nagi is such a lucky cat to have them in his corner.
