As far as I can puzzle out, it's like a short-term, competitive version of the Association Contests. Pick a side, make an outfit for the theme, "battle" during the appropriate window to win crafting supplies for the outfits; whichever side wins (overall??? Might be based on cumulative scores of all players???) gets more supplies.

I finished the only outfit I cared about in the hell event gacha, time to IGNORE THE EVENT AND IT'S WALLET DRAINING TRICKS

 

I legit dgaf about the actual hell suits and the only one of the recharges I like is the boy suit and I'm not dropping a lot of money for a chance (still bitter as hell I didn't get Momo's Adventure from the last lucky bags)

The minor suits are all nice though, and the Wonderland suits starting tomorrow look very pretty, in a pastelly girly way, but I'm still kind of eh about their utility.

 

i ended up ACCIDENTALLY getting a lucky bag (spent money because i had an interesting week, didn't know how lucky bags worked, was enthused to realize i got cool stuff), and it was thankfully the one i thought was cute

i also accidentally got a hell suit in the process of getting the suit i wanted (mountain dropped, it's cute, i'm happy and not spending more money)

Things I discovered today: the reward you get for every ten votes you've cast in the competiton? That keeps going. You can still claim more rewards every time you've cast ten votes. By the time I'd learned this, I had piled up about 5k of unclaimed votes.

Also, am I misremembering something or did the Wild hairstyle used to be a drop from more than just the one princess level it's available on now? I feel sure it used to be a drop from a couple of maiden levels in the same stage...

I FINALLY pulled the last Prosperity shawl needed to fully evolve Story of Shanghai. What a slog. I was honestly only pulling in the gold pav for crystal shoe pieces (need that last lotus top to craft the Stunning Beauty recolour) and I YELLED when I saw it. got the elusive dang album to finish Prime Secretary too.
