I'm chewing on stage 4-12's princess mode in frustration, because I can't seem to S-rank it. I don't know if I need to tweak my outfit (it's the exact one that Momo recommends in the maiden mode, with a few same-style additions) or if I need to level up my abilities or what. But the closest I'm getting is A-rank, and it's just super frustrating because I keep getting so close, I get a total that looks like it's going to be enough for S-rank...and then nope! A-rank again!

Does anyone have any suggestions for managing to S-rank this thing?

 

Unfortunately no, because 4-12 is A Hell Level that I haven't managed to S yet either :P

 

I managed it after MUCH trouble, I can tell you what I used if you want?

 

There is a love Nikki website that has guides on how to S rank all the things with better tips than momos

I avoid looking at it too much but it helped me get through a hell level on chapter 8 princess so I could get on to 9

 

I actually just recently s-ranked it and I think I used some items from recent events to do so. Basically I'd look at the items you've been using in the wardrobe and make sure you don't have many or any items that are warm instead of cool, or gorgeous instead of simple, and layer as much stuff as you possibly can. Here's my list of items according to the Best Score sheet.

Edit: also my smile and charming skills are basically as high as they can get for my current level (45) and I got real good at timing the bounce skills because I played the level so much. Get a sense of when the negatives are thrown at you, because they can do a lot of harm.

 

4-12 is actually the WORST princess level in the whole game, I'm so glad we all agree

I just reached 7-2 in maiden - is the reccommended dress the only thing that counts as Dragon Maiden? (i haaate crafting things in several steps, it messes with my head. Especially when I can't set it as the set to work towards bc if I don't do that I keep forgetting what's what and what I need to do....)

I think, unfortunately, it is-- I remember trying with a couple other dresses for the same reason (crafting multi-step stuff SUCKS) and I think I failed every time.

I read an explanation of scoring once but not much of it stuck. That seems pretty "????!" to me, but. It may make total sense
