I don’t know if it’s inappropriate (it certainly doesn’t seem so to me, in like, abstract) but I do know that I was specifically trying to avoid the tumblr.txt aspects of the conversation so... maybe it does fit better there? Unfortunate.

 

the current convo in tumblr.txt is about this specifically, so maybe it would be better if these posts got moved there? if @rje is ok with it that is. i have no strong feelings on the subject

 

I actually kind of get not wanting to talk about it in the tumblr.txt thread because it's a thread with a lot more traffic and kind of a Serious Discussion Enabled Zone, which is hella intimidating

 

Is it worth asking to have it moved and maybe roll all of that discussion into its own thread?

This is probably a Me Being Stupid thing but I’m getting this feeling of, like, no matter how I end up feeling about the GO adaptation (I haven’t gotten the chance to sit down and watch because of various life things) that I will be the Wrong Kind Of Queer about it, no matter which side of the discussion I end up feeing more sympathetic to, and it’s both deeply uncomfortable and steadily eroding my willingness to watch it at all. Which is part of why I would prefer (though totally understand why others may not, and am more than willing to concede to having the discussion in this thread instead) that aspect of the show Disk Horse be outside of the general fandom thread if possible.

 

I think that's a fair ask and a good idea. Like at least a separate fan town thread, whether the existing posts get moved there or not.

Thought it was a decent adaptation but Adam was played a bit flat and the end was a bit rushed (which, as someone whose invested in Adam I was disappointed about)

Crowley and Aziraphale really had their moments shine tho
