How much do you *make* on the Amazon porn front? I've been considering getting into it but. Yeah.

 

So hey, I have a slightly urgent need for money, and since my tablet pen is broken, I can't do art commissions. So I'm doing writing commissions instead.

My main specialties are fanfiction and poetry (specifically Shakespearean sonnets and villanelles).

I can write fanfic for the following fandoms: Homestuck, Gravity Falls, Pokemon (the games, anyway), Animal Crossing, Bonus Stage, Deadly Space Action, Homestar Runner, Panty And Stocking With Garterbelt, Steven Universe, Invader Zim, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Futurama, Azumanga Daioh, and Rozen Maiden. I can write original fics as well. Fics/stories are priced at $1 (USD) for every hundred words--one cent per word--and rounded to the nearest 25 cent mark. In other words, a 380-word fic would be $3.75; a 390-word fic would be $4.

As for poetry, the rates are more fixed. Haikus are $1. Shakespearean sonnets and villanelles are $3, plus $2 for each related poem (in other words, if you want two connected sonnets, that'd be $5). Free verse poems are $4, and fixed form poems I'm less familiar with (such as Petrarchan sonnets and terzanelles) are $5.

I really, really need to be commissioned. If you can't afford to commission me, at least signal boost this post.

While I'm only licensed in the State and District of Minnesota, the Patent and Trademark Office accepts any state license, so I can do trademark registrations and prosecutions.

My money situation isn't super duper dire, but having cash to fall back on is always very nice.

 

Does anyone here do simple design? I'm finally getting near the end of the giant box of cheap-ass business cards I bought at OfficeMax and would like to get something a little nicer.

I have no idea what the going rate for that kind of thing is.

 

Not for right now, but for reference - would anyone here be interested in/have experience with doing sets of character sprites a la Persona/Homestuck talksprites? I'd pay a fair price, of course (hence 'not right now' - I need to actually earn the money first :P - but it would be good to talk to someone re: price so I know how much I need to save up)
