Good morning, I'm necro-bumping this to say I do drawings and am offering pay-what-you-can commissions! The stuff I pull out of my own brain tends to have a monster/creature/fantasy vibe but I will also draw your human(oid) OC, fantrolls, Pokemon, anything. Would prefer not to do outright porn but nonsexual nudity is okay.

 

I've been thinking of hiring someone to design/sketch a cane with a Cthulhu-esque handle. I'm thinking of a four-jawed mouth pointing forward and twisted tentacles pointing to the back, in the general form of a warhammer head cane, and some tentacles wrapped around and gripping the shaft of the cane. From the sketch I'd like to make or have made a 3D model, and then I'll machine it.

 

Does anyone here do 3D modeling of people? I have a friend who's getting a huge award in about six months and would love to give him a 3d figurine of himself as a gift. I can provide as many pictures as you need of him, from any angles you want.

 

I'm really desperate for someone to help run my esty shop for me and give feedback on ideas and concrit on my pieces.

I know it's a tall order, and idk how payment would work because wh finances are my weakest possible point, but I really really suck at the business side of running a business.

Edit: by that I mean I can pay you a bit just idk on what that would entail as part of some plan.....

 

my boyfriend is selling prints of some of his landscapes! I have a couple hanging on my walls right now and love them. They're really cool, and a couple of them are based off of our weird friend's dreams.

So I need a better wheelchair.

Hey, guys. SO. Once the mass in the femur of my left leg gets checked out, I’m slated to get a date/time for surgery on my right knee. Fairly major surgery, actually. I’ll be getting something called a Tibial Tubercle Osteotomy or a Fulkerson Osteotomy. I’ll be on crutches for about 6 weeks, and then steadily recovering for months afterward before we do the other leg.

Now, if you know me, you know that I and long distances/long periods of standing don’t get along very well. I get fainty and ill and generally it’s a bad experience. I have a basic wheelchair I’ve had for a few years now for getting around in during such times outside the house, which is why if you’ve ever met me at a convention I’ve been in it and then been out of it lying on the ground and lifting my legs on the seat because my cheapy chair is a model that doesn’t have liftable legs to prevent the pooling of blood and general discomfort.

Being stuck on crutches is gonna suck but is doable for short distances for me pain and stamina wise. It’s the extended time in the immobilizer that’ll be a problem.. specifically because my wheelchair doesn’t have a liftable leg. If it did, I could simply lock it out in place, set the straight leg immobilizer out on it, and enjoy more comfort and way less limb swelling than I otherwise might, as well as more freedom outside of the house when applicable and a long time of use even beyond the recovery time for my other issues. As it doesn’t, it means my current chair is going to be worthless to me during this period, which will be limiting.

My insurance is only going to be paying for crutches and the recovery items for after the surgery: I was warned a wheelchair is not something that Medicaid would likely go for in this situation and I definitely believe it. So, after some shopping around, I’ve got my eyes on another cheap model that should be plenty sturdy from Amazon, and only about $200-ish dollars. I’m not trying to save up for a fancy nice personal wheelchair, that’s Far beyond my budget and for now is beyond what I require as I don’t need it for daily use. I’d like to purchase this for use during my recovery as well as to replace my wonky current chair that isn’t nearly as useful as it could be to me for events like conventions, and trips/visits to many other places that I’d otherwise need to stand for and hope there was a chair on site I could borrow or plenty of seating I could access easily. (Hint: there often isn’t, or if it’s available it’s out of the way and thus not as useful for me.)

I’m hoping to earn this money by doing commissions at my usual rates. If you’d like to help me out, here is that information!
