Also, I'm really feeling the anti-Trump goodness. Not just the general anti-Trump sentiment, which I always like, but the honestly upsetting 'this sort of mud-slinging popularity contest is literally the opposite of what we worked so hard for and set up so wholeheartedly when we started out, trying to make our own sort of nation, our own political system, our place where the people were actually represented. We live with this now instead. Fuck.'

I don't often feel patriotic, but when I do, it's for what we wanted and never quite accomplished.
