What kills me is that the sister is 28 so he can't actually be nearly as old as he's managed to make himself look. Wow, that's fucking impressive.
I wonder, what's the law about how much of a dollar bill can you deface before it's not legal tender any more?...
some Googling says that as long as you're not attempting to pass it off as a higher amount (i.e. adding zeroes), then you're pretty much fine. the law basically says unless you're deliberately trying to make it unusable, it's still legal. it's recommended that you don't change the circular seals as well as the number because that's often what gets scanned (so if you deface those bits, the bill won't read to a scanner), so i dunno how long the Bills will hang around before getting flagged to be disposed of, but hey. still technically legal.
So, guess who finally started watching Gravity Falls! I am currently watching episode 3 and oh boy do Gideon's "Nice Guy" antics trigger bad memories of myself. I will be posting my thoughts here bit by bit. So far I think Wendy and Seuss (Zeus?) are pretty cool, Dipper and Mabel are good siblings, and Stan is probably my favorite character. I actually know almost nothing about this show? I know Ford exists and Bill is an evil dorito? But I don't really know about them or what happens.
Ford (my husbando) is only present for the last half of the second season. :) Bill doesn't appear until the first season is almost over. Relax and enjoy :)
See, Ford DOES SO like girls. :-p Also I think you meant 'the same' woman. She may have been sane but if she's allowing them both to chase after her, she won't be for long.
Iiiiii did mean same >u< Accursed letters, looking so similar. But I believe she does prove her sanity by up and leaving.
Yyyyeah, people just starting to watch GF is always a trip, because the plot stuff you would know about the show based on fan output starts happening about halfway through, and then only in pieces. The plot party starts late, it's foreshadowing and really enjoyable one shot episodes up until then. What you see on tumblr or around the net about the show is stuff that happens almost entirely in the second season, when major players that the show has been talking about without directly talking about finally show up and start doing shit. Until then they're mostly passive influences. Partly because of this it's a show that just gets better as it goes--if you're liking the beginning, you'll love it by the end. I could probably write a lot about why I really like the pacing of the show but this is not the post for that. But as it is a show about mysteries at heart, not knowing much is the way to go ^u^
Well I never said I was sane did I. HAHAHAH I would follow Ford just about anywhere. Maybe not into the Spoiler: spoily spoily UFO, because I'm scared of heights, but you never know.
Alright, watched a few more episodes last night, through the one where Dipper meets the Manotaurs. Boy, you sure have some issues, don't you Dipper? Traditional gender roles and standards of masculinity/femininity are a pain. And Mabel's comment about older women having a smaller dating pool was surprisingly cynical, is she okay?
Mabel is fine. Or at least as fine as she's always been. I have strong suspicions that Something Is Very Wrong at home and that they were probably sent away so that it could be dealt with. I mean he's sweet deep down but would you send your kids to visit Stan for 3 months if you had an alternative????? Mabel comes off as a pure idealist but there's a core of deep cynicism that I actually kind of love most of the time. Also I think she'd say just about anything to get Stan what he wants (even though it's actually not) Also who does not love the Multibear?
Kids you are way too young to deal with the moral implications of making disposable clones of yourselves. Dipper, stop being me, I swear to god. Also Grenda is totally trans.
