It's an alternate place for us to say "hey, is the forum down?" :P
k, i joined the guild! i'm pocketWarhead over there.
Joined up and joined guild :D
Apparently there's a Chrome productivity extension. Haven't tested it out yet, and it still says HabitRPG so I'm wary about whether or not it actually integrates with the site anymore.
okay, reawakened my account. Now to redo like, all of my dailies and to-dos, because jfc past Nai you were a mess.
Going to try for showers once a week, wish me luck!

That sucks man. Take care of yourself and feel better.
Thanks to this thread for reminding me that I need to get back in the habit of habitica xD it doesn't always motivate me to do more, but it does help me keep my thoughts and tasks organized better when i remember to use it- a lot of my procrastination comes from not knowing where to start/being too intimidated to start, so having it up and organizing my tasks into small to-dos helps me get stuff done a ton
In the apple mobile app, my habits are different colors. I thought it was based on difficulty but it doesnt seem to map? Does anyone knowwhats up with that?
Assuming the mobile app is like the regular thing, it represents the tasks value. It's explained on the wiki, but the TL;DR version is tasks you do more go up in value (move towards blue), while tasks you skip or hit the minus on go down (move towards red). Bluer tasks are worth less gold/experience and also do less damage to you if you skip them, and it's the opposite for redder tasks. Item drops are also affected but in an inconsistent way, I think. Yellow is neutral.
Ah, ok. Thanks!
I just wanted to say me and my psuedo-morail joined habitica! I am so excited to this out and see if this works ^ ^
Edit: have joined guild, I'm KamikazeQuail
Hello! I've been away from this forum for ages (though active in the Skype chats) and recently got into Habitica again and backreading this thread is a bit confusing but I wanna be Added To The Things! I am wixbloom there as well as here.
Okay so I haven't used this in over 2 years. Better re-make all my dailies and habits and everything. Guess I'll join the guild, too - I'm garden on there, same as here.
do i have to re-cast 'tools of the trade' every day, or does it stay on for the whole quest, or what?
I think it ends on your chron. What's the description of the spell?
Okay so thanks to this dumb pixel thing (and ESPECIALLY imagining that the kintsugi people are going to see if I fail to do the thing, even tho I don't think that's true?) today I went to the gym and gently pushed myself, wrote 3 pages in my journal and finally (after almost 10 years!!!) understand what's up with the Trigonometric Circle!!!!!!
Btw going to the gym is gonna involve the "effort" extra throughout this entire month, because the gym is decorated for Pink October and there's pink stuff and (I shit you not) BALLOONS SHAPED LIKE BOOBIES everywhere and it's causing me this amazing mix of 1) dysphoria 2) righteous indignation at pinkwashing as it relates to breast cancer awareness 3) righteous indignation at sexism 4) WHY GYM PEOPLE, WHY
1)that sounds annoying as heck
2)what is the effort extra?
GUILD GUILD YAY *joins* Bet you can't guess who I am. :P
I'm at the point of the game where it's kind of leveled out and there isn't much to do. I'm currently trying to turn all my pets into mounts and get a second set of pets. I still have so many extra eggs and potions tho x.X I wish we could trade items and stuff.
Kintsugi is based on the premise that nothing anyone can do or say makes it okay to treat them like trash. By logging in, you affirm that you understand this to be the foundational premise of the community. More on our community philosophy here.
