    You could make a daily, (do something to self-care) that only gets clicked once. Then youd reward consistency rather than times.

    They way that I have self care set up in my dailies is in three parts.

    "Mental Wellness Thing"
    "Physical Wellness Thing"
    "Spiritual Wellness Thing"

    I suppose I could make a check-list challenge for mental and physical wellness, and people can check off whichever one they do that day and then check off the daily so that they don't get penalized for not doing both, but get bonus points for doing both if they were able.

    How long would we want the challenge to go for? The month of November maybe?

    [11:09:54 PM] me: so I made the /title/ of the daily "bedtime before 1am last night", and then a /checklist/ that has the entries "...well, did you?" "...well, if not, at least before 2:30am?" "...before 4am?"
    [11:10:34 PM] me: so if I have some of the checks it deals less of the punishment

    I think there's a link earlier in this thread to join the Kintsugi guild. (On page 2, maybe?) I can send you a party invite too - although I think we might need to start a third party soon! Mine's getting pretty big!

    ETA: PM me your user ID (it's under Settings->API) for a party invite, or I can get it when you join the guild.

    Okay, this is helping quite a bit already.

    Like a lot of aspies, I have some executive functioning issues. The big ones are that I often forget to brush my teeth (which is a bit odd, because I have good hygiene otherwise), and I also often forget my evening meds.

    I'm proud to say that yesterday I forgot neither of those things, and today I brushed my teeth like I know I should but always forget to do. (Night meds come later, obviously. :P)

    Also, since I feel like sharing, here are my tasks!

    Habits (note that I'm only doing positive habits, since those are the ones I really need to work on right now)

    okay y'all. i joined the guild. i'm doin' it.

    please keep me accountable. especially on my physio exercises (there are enough of them that the exdys kicks in BIG TIME) and on writing. the rest I should be able to keep up with, but those are really really hard.

    EDIT: as in bug me about them. you guys are friendly and I'll only mope a little bit probably.
  14. @Kaylotta The best way to do that would be to join a party and start a quest. That way your missed dailies hurt the entire party, but you can have a lot of people making up for it. I haven't died once since I joined a party.

    Also just wanted to say that I found a way to use rewards for self-care without fucking yourself over mental healthwise. I made some things I like to do but shouldn't do a lot very expensive, like going out to eat and buying music, but not so expensive that I couldn't earn them if I save up for a couple days. I combined that with cheep rewards like junk food and an hour of gaming and I successfully limited both the expensive and the cheap.

    @autopsyblue hmm. I'm a little hesitant about that, because I'm concerned my brain will default to "fuck, no, I can't disadvantage other people, I will drop and go it solo" rather than "I need to do these things so I can help people". I dunno.

    game-wise, me neither, I've been on since the early days and am fairly OP. i'm not really concerned about the actual game mechanics, more the brainweird of "you are failing people!" but, who knows. i will think on it. thank you for the suggestion :)

    Well, if it's being afraid of disadvantaging people, you could gray out most of your Dailies? Gray ones won't damage other people, either.
