Halloween is evil

Last night I actually dreamt that @Butch Holliday had returned to troll us once again on this day, to give us the chance to laugh and be merry and praise Satan once more. I miss you, @Butch Holliday . Now I have to rely on my evangelical coworkers to remind me that I am of the devil, and it feels terribly lonely.

I went to a Halloween party as a neurotypical cis guy last year, I'll never be able to beat that so I don't have a costume for this year.

 

even mediocre costumes are worth it.
Halloween does not discriminate based on quality or creativity.
Halloween loves you no matter what, even if you just throw on a bit of red lipgloss as fake blood.

 

Best Halloween candy is definitely Reeses cups. When I was a kid, I'd always save those for last...

Reese's cups are the best, period. Too bad I can only find them in one place here, and only sometimes.

 

Peanut butter tastes like no, and I regret this because everyone always says Reese's are amazing. I've got a bunch of assorted chocolatey things at the apartment on the off-chance of trick-or-treaters, though.

 

my house never gets any trick or treaters, but right now i'm on a college campus so I'm expecting insanity

 

We had a separate Halloween celebration on campus on Thursday, actually. I had a chem test the next day so that was fun, hearing screaming and the X-Files theme playing outside until like 11:30.

 

*puts hat over face instead of on head because I don't like posting pictures of my face on the internet*

i haven't got anything going on tonight besides maybe taking a pokemon walk, so i might stream some thematically appropriate movies if anyone's interested (if i do i will probs run it until Very Late at night, probably at least 4-5 am mountain time, so don't feel like you gotta stick around for the whole thing)
the quality of the movies will probably be debatable but i'm thinking things like halloweentown, hocus pocus, maybe if i'm feeling really masochistic the scooby doo movies
