    I swept my kitchen, bathroom, and hallway as a sort of symbolic pushing-out-old-baggage thing. I tried to mop, and my mop broke. Is this a bad sign or a sign I should continue being lazy another couple days?

    Ah well, never mind that. Happy New Year, and may it be a fortunate one.
