tbh, I'm glad she's a jerk, because that made it soooo satisfying when I won the honey field away from her. She was all "haha I already know I'm gonna win" and I was like "I've been hoarding fish, insects, eggs, milk, and hundreds of crops. YOU WON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT HIT YOU" she sold 30k worth of stuff. I sold 50k. She was so horrified.

I almost don't like it when rivals are nice (one of the few things I don't like about new pokemon games) because that makes for a bland and boring experience. Trying to beat someone who is a total cocky brat who underestimates you is way more satisfying then "let's try our best! :3" rivals.

also I found out you can't unlock silkie chickens or alpaca until spring of year 2 ;_;
Also I found out that I can have up to 8 animals in a barn, so that's nice.

 

Update:

• bought 2 angora bunnies and a kitty!
• I somehow managed to flirt my way to a blue flower with mistel and a purple flower with Fritz despite being a hoarding mess who hasn't talked to anyone outside of festivals most of the fall.
• I went to the fashion festival and made it to 3rd place despite not having any fall/winter clothes (RIP: my iron. I need to find 4 more before the sewing studio is complete) I know there will be another one for spring/summer and I am determined not to repeat the same outfit even if it looks good.
• Also Raeger said he liked my style even though I didn't win and stuff and he is too cute I'm gonna die
• Elise gave me a backhanded compliment about how I wasn't totally out of fashion but she would win if she got into fashion design. Elise plz. (although have you SEEN her mansion? She's probably right)

 

my sweetest memory is beating her and that flirtatious motherfucker AND mr eager farmer in one go. Everyone sold about.. 97-130 in goods, I shot overkill and got about 600k. I was on cloud 9.

Nothing fills me with rage though like when something expires on a festival and you can't renew it so you HAVE to fight, like. motherfucker plz.

 

hmmm, I am on seedling mode and I distinctly remember having the lease to one of my fields expiring on a festival and being able to renew it first thing in the morning no problem. Normal mode sounds scary o_o

Also I find the fall music really soothing, and really familiar but I couldn't put my finger on why
I figured out that for some reason it really reminds me of the Mac Anu theme from .hack

the melody is different but they still sound similar to me and I don't know why. I don't know anything about music theory.

 

I think I let it expire and missed the auto-day, and then hit a festival which screwed me. =7= I lost a root field once because of it, what a pain in the dick.

And Ooooh... godddddddd that game is my jam i am GONNA HAVE TO SPLURGE ON IT LIKE CRAZY ONCE WE GET MOVED.. Maybe I can stow the ps2 in my luggage instead of the movers taking it... no, then we'd have no screeen still. ugh. okay, To Play list before we go if I can't resist, or splurging once I get there. >A<

IT WAS SO HARD GETTING ALL THE FUCKING GAMES AND I'VE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO HAVE THE TIME TO RUN ALL OF THEM STRAIGHT THROUGH. I was missing #3 for god damn AGES..

 

Oh god, yeah. Our copy of the games were lost a long time ago (they're... somewhere, but they were my brother's games and he never took care of his stuff so only god knows where they are now) and if I even wanted to attempt replacing them they are hundreds of dollars because they apparently didn't sell well and the people who own them generally don't want to sell them. I wish they would at least release a disc of the 4 Liminality OVA's those were really good :(

(and incidentally, 50% the reason why I picked the username liminal,
the other 50% was just because I like the concept of liminal spaces and liminal beings

i managed to find mine in a damn walmart case in the middle of nowhere for $45 ages and ages after it should have been long gone, when online it was already going for twice that used. I am hoarding the hell out of that third disk because it was the one everyone I knew was struggling to find, oh man... (I don't remember the anime much admittedly, but dat soundtrack, unf.)

and.. I admittedly.. missed the train when it came to maths and sciences and anything in the technical sphere because I went from "okay I have problems but I understand the basics and can kind of hiccup forwards, I'm struggling a little" to living in a district where they discouraged the basics and I regressed and now struggle with middle school comprehension of some things from literally being targeted and being made to cry in class each day in what should have been a course far below my level according to them. 8I;; trying to get caught up at all if my schooling demands it will not be pretty.. I used to LIKE it, I remember? I enjoyed word problems and algebra that I was learning, but changing states fucking destroyed everything and it never came back. So while I don't understand what those two things are, they sound neat. ;u; I hope to understand what the concepts mean someday.

the shoujo sparkles were unreal.

but I am frustrated because I need 4 more iron to make my sewing studio and the mine is mocking me by giving me silver (I am pretty sure I already have a flourite?) wait a second.... doesn't silk country sell iron? And they already stopped by before and I forgot to buy it? *facepalm*

AND I KNOW, MOTHERFUCKER IS SMOOTH AS HELL. The dokis are unreal. how many villagers have you fainted in front of to make it that perfectly smooth you fucking goomba -_O

 

unrelated: I realized another reason I like Raeger so much is he reminds me of Makoto from FREE! and. I've never even watched the damn series, I can't do sports animus, but I've seen enough of him on my dash and in doujins to point at him and go "Yes."

 

Raeger is smooth enough that I immediately introduced him to my for real mother
like I had to walk over and show her the DS. I was physically unable to resist urge to introduce husbando to his mother-in-law.

lol I showed all of the bachelors to my mom when I started the game and she said I should marry Raeger because he can cook and he has the best hair.

 

I have a sewing studio! thank you, silk country! Now I am making a ring (and also some basic clothes for the next fashion contest, I've already picked out the outfit) >:3
