Hahaha, aight! DWRP is fairly simple for getting started; you make an account for a character on dreamwidth.org (a-z 0-9 and underscores, though there's a Cultural Thing about having really long names with too many underscores so keeping it short and simple is preferred), upload icons (which ought to be 100x100 pixels; this is also a Cultural Thing) that represent a range of facial expressions for when you reply to other people (since you can select which icon you want to show on a comment). At that point, you can start tagging in open communities, memes (in this context, that means someone made a post with scenario suggestions or prompts, and people post their characters in the comments, inviting random replies from others), or museboxes and PSLs (private storylines; one-on-one or small group RPs) A musebox is a private community where a person and people they invite can play with their characters (aka muses). They can be treated as small, low-pressure games, or just a place to keep your PSLs and memes and such relatively private. Lexi posts a lot of memes to her musebox, but since it is private (only mods of the musebox can accept member requests, and if you are not a member you can't see the posts), only her characters and the characters her friends play have access to the meme.
TECHNICALLY I was already in a sexy musebox game but I'm now in Town of Salem, which is "Ryslig But Sexy" basically. And awkward noodling my way around since I'm a demi playing a demi but such is life.
