Found out about this place through seebs's excellent blog, and finally got around to making an account here. Anyway, I'm Rakukaja, I'm in my 20s, and I'm a fan of mythology, music, and, uh, mlibertarian socialism. (Rojava, mutual aid, workplace democracy, that kinda thing.) I'm also an avid collector of mental illnesses: anxiety, depression, OCD, AvPD, and maybe Aspergers and ADHD, although I've only been pro-DXed with the first three. Hopefully I can get better at dealing with them with the help of you folks.

Sorry for the wait- real life caught up with me. Whoops, I forgot to post my last.fm. Entry level hipster garbage, mostly :P Yep! SJ's probably my third fave in the series (second is Devil Survivor 1). My fave MegaTen's probably Digital Devil Saga 1: the Mantra system was awesome, and I loved the whole mystery of what the Junkyard was and what was going on with it. Shame DDS2's plot wasn't as good. :( I'd like to, but I don't have much access to transportation at the moment. Hopefully that'll change soon- I'm still annoyed that I couldn't go see Boris in Las Vegas last August.
WHAT KIND OF MYTHOLOGY. I am big on Irish mythology but I also love like Buddhist mythology and folklore a lot. Also Islamic stuff.
Hindu mythology's pretty great! Also Gnostic stuff and other non-/dubiously canonical Abrahamic texts. And although it's not really mythology per se, I read BetterMyths religiously (pun not intended) until it stopped updating :(
Oooooh. I don't know too much about Hindu mythology, save the stuff that I learned about while studying Buddhist mythology. A lot of Buddhist mythology is cribbed from Hindu stuff so I mean yeah. Like Visnu figures in heavily with Sri Lankan popular religion, and they've their own versions of the Rama stories. Namely Rama's kind of a dickhead. Thailand has their own variant of the Rama stories too, where again Rama is not entirely in the right. If anything Ravana is sympathetic now, and also some of Rama's feats got given to Hanuman who is obviously way fucking cooler.
