"How'm I supposed to figure them out if I don't get to do anything?" Eirik complains, ducking his head.
"Come on, prima donna," says Corrie, still very amused. "I'm taking a snack break, you can have some if you want."
"Maybe don't eat the wrapper this time, though, all right?" She tosses a strip toward Eirik, hopefully to be caught rather than allowed to smack Grendel in the face.
Eirik lets out a little chirp, grabbing the strip and nibbling it. "...Mom-Dad eats wrappers, too," he argues.
Baldur sighs "Alright, you two figure out what you want to do, I'll be waiting for ya at the car when you're ready to talk." He heads out of the cave.
Grendel rolls his eyes, then sets Eirik down. "...or we can talk to him after the show," he points out.
This is the first Corrie's actually heard of someone's parents insisting they go and see the metal show. "Yes, yes," she says. "And I'll drive very carefully and have him home before midnight."
Baldur snickers " not if you stay for the whole show you won't. Alright I'm heading back to the r.v. guys " He puts a hand on the small of Grendel's back and and looks up at him. " You coming with? We can stop by your mom if you want. "
