Flat update:

internet went in today. Very glad I paid extra for the full engineer installation since it turned out the line had been disconnected and he had to climb up a telephone post.

carpets in tomorrow

hopefully then I can get my bed at least in straight away - staying at my mums has been getting pretty stressful and a lot of that is due to incompatible morning routines.

suffering ffxiv withdrawal - dreamed up a new trial last night, couldn’t do the mechanics even in a dream.

Everything’s in the new place, if not yet out of boxes. It still feels really weird in here - I can remember the old place feeling that way after I moved but not how long it lasted.

I feel I only post in here to rant, but…

I was asked to take part as a speaker in an online conference tomorrow. Today I found out that although I thought I’d confirmed that I wanted to do it, the organisers had read my emails as me declining.

this kind of thing keeps happening. And yes, I’m autistic, I have problems with communication, but I should be getting better at it.

 

In better news, I finally have got some blinds up!

 

Trying to work out my WoL's body type so I can draw her in more realistic styles. I might go back and give her so more arm muscle, but it would be a bit too much of a break with the canonical lala silhouette.

• Holiday in London
• Concussion during said holiday
• Got kicked out of static as part of fallout from drama
• Joined new static compromised of everyone from the previous static who wasn’t the instigator of said drama
• Pretty much finished decorating? There’s still a few pictures to go up but nearly everything’s where I want it now

In other news, it turns out that my computer can actually run baldur’s gate

everything looks a bit low res and it makes worrying noises, but it plays!

Meet Patheiya! I'm broadly happy with how they turned out, but a bit annoyed with the character creator in general - although you can freely choose genitals and pronouns, they are only four choices for body type for each race (basically tall and muscular or short and skinny for both masc and fem) and they're all very gendered. I know it'll make things easier as far as modelling goes, but I want a bit more variety.

(Also no options for fat characters, which doesn't surprise me but would be nice to have occasionally)
