W. What happened?

 

Nothing serious - I was carrying a bowl of soup out of my kitchen, slipped, and splattered it everywhere. Managed to clear most of it up now but I did have a minor breakdown in what looked an overdramatic murder scene

cat painting - needs to be done by January but also needs to be sent to America so need to look at postage options
Transformers secret Santa - deadline 21st December, preliminary sketch done
Homestuck zine piece - deadline 27th December, more than half done
Wire knitting - deadline Christmas Day? Maybe?
Origami pieces- planning to do about 6, could cut it down to two if necessary, deadline 19th
Work - no formal deadline but it needs doing

Did some work on the secret Santa pic

 

Most of the origami’s done - I might replace the boar with something else and I don’t have the dog pattern on me - but I’m pretty happy with most of these

The dog origami has defeated me and Megatron’s legs are stupid and too hard to draw and I’m stressed out about politics and I just want to finish one thing.

 

Started dog attempt 2. Going to have to leave the complicated bits until morning when I’m more awake, but eh.

 

Sent messages I needed to send! It mightve taken literal months but I did it!

 

Pretty productive day today, mostly work stuff.

turns out trying to not panic about politics by doing things might not help with the panic but it does help get things done.

 

At a certain point with origami, you’ve got to put the pattern aside and just wrestle with wads of paper. I’m really hoping I haven’t misjudged that point
