We also don't really see much of Nepeta's hive. We know that it's located in a cave, but that's really about it; we only see one small portion of it, and it's stated that some of it caves in on Pounce later. I suspect that she had several rooms, and her build allotment went towards enlarging the cave and giving her a bathing area, a bedroom located further away from the entrance, and a kitchen; it feels like the section of her hive that we saw was just the common room, where she hung out if she wasn't doing anything in particular.
How much use would a hexagonal DVD even be, anyway? Would they have to keep taking it out and turning it round every five minutes?
I mean you could put it in a drive bigger than the DVD so it spins, but then who knows what the point of it being hexagonal is.

maybe that's the point: lowbloods aren't supposed to be able to really relax or have fun that privilege is not for them may only relax for five minutes at a time

i am somewhat expecting that Boldir will get nearly every single detail correct - except she'll be certain that the Lunacracy is based on the pink moon, not the green.
