Also regarding names, I just noticed. Amisia's name is from Artemisia Gentileschi, painter of graphic beheading, but missing the Art.
I am Namaaq Of Spayce n Bloo N wen I see Anuther do A paneting fine That tuches hart I brek right in I stele the art.
Okay, thing that needs theories; why, where, and how did the MSPA Reader find and steal a rocket which a) looks like a trashcan with rocket accessories pasted on but actually functions and b) is capable of accidentally taking them to an entire other universe? Do they come from an alternate Earth where you can just find those on a street corner or something?
It seems Jude knows more about the monsters than he's letting on. Look at his notes; there are pictures of the snake monster.
The Friendsims seem to be tying together into a larger storyline which I'm presuming will actually turn out to be relevant to the main game. This is weird.
I'm playing Friendsim volumes I just bought.... Tagora terrifies me. he is scary to me in a very special way. also.... Spoiler does 'rainbow drinker lotion' or whatever...mean what I think it means did you just slather yourself in dead troll or something
Spoiler: oh my god "helping someone carry out cold-blooded murder is a super friendly thing to do" is my new favorite quote
Spoiler: hm, so...volume 9 Azdaja says he "already has a moirail"--and then when you say you thought Konyyl was his matesprit, he says something to the effect of "uh, yeah, that's what I meant! matesprit" and....Konyyl talks about Azdaja in a way that initially struck me as kind of seeming like a kismesis. it seems to me like....they may either vacillate between multiple quadrants, or straight-up have a panquadrant relationship? cause at least from the moirail comment, they do fill two quadrants for each other--maybe not necessarily at the same time always, but....definitely not just red. and the way Konyyl talked about Azdaja is making me wonder if they somehow flip between red, pale, and black, or if they're actually all three all at once. it'd probably be something they'd have to keep pretty intensely unknown if they were somehow going between or in three quadrants at once, so I mean....it would explain Azdaja immediately correcting himself and trying to act like it was some weird fuck-up and nothing more, totally meant matesprit, be quiet weird alien. honestly they might even try to keep it under wraps if they were just moirails and matesprits, or vacillating between the two. but I think it indicates something.
Spoiler I just read it as him being pale for her while they're officially flushed and she may not know.
Spoiler I dunno that he would call her his moirail like that if it was just that he was pale for her? his immediate first move would still be to refer to her as a matesprit, I would think, just a matesprit he didn't have red feelings for. it's not like he'd be calling her his moirail if they weren't pale--plus, he rejects your advance that he regards as pale and says he has a moirail, not that he likes someone else pale, which are....two different things, I think. I mean, it's not like people mistakenly call someone else their partner just because they have a crush on that person. ...usually. honestly I also just really want panquadrant trolls. give me that possibly-illegal-but-at-least-definitely-inadvisable relationship.
Spoiler I don't know, it read to me like "I have a girlfriend!" "Dude, she's not your girlfriend." "... right."
I think there really is something to the originally cracky idea that Marvus is actually a limeblood in hiding, connected to the giant green-fire-breathing axolotl from the concept art. -Hidden sign doesn't necessarily mean anything but it seems odd he would hide it unless there's something unusual about it. We do know Ardata is definitely a real cerulean, but she could be a red (or blue) herring. -"Xoloto" is juggalo slang for a poser/faker. -"Xoloton" in Nahuatl means a slave or servant, which immediately made me think he's a lowblood. -Xolotl was also an Aztec god of fire, death, monsters, misfortune, and deformity. Since limebloods are extinct or nearly so at this point in time, it would be counted as a deformity/mutation to Watch Thou For, as they say, and would be extremely unfortunate to be; also, the concept art axolotl is a huge fuckin' monster and is killing trolls by breathing green fire on them. -According to the Extended Zodiac, limebloods "have a tendency towards melodrama" and will "cultivate a hard outer shell" to hide their true selves. Purplebloods are performers, and what's more melodramatic than hiding such an important part of oneself by infiltrating the very group that makes one need to hide that thing? -There is a lime symbol on the EZ which looks like an axolotl, and is called the Sign of the Constrained; see above for the limitations a lime would be suffering. -Said symbol is Mind-bound, and the Mind-bound can apparently rapidly switch identities to fit circumstances and "execute a plan with flawless grace and precision". Someone on Tumblr also called the Mind-bound "'go big or go home' types", which would explain why he'd choose such a hard and dangerous disguise to pull off. -It's also Prospit. Prospit dreamers "solve problems with creativity", which if he's disguised as a purple he's definitely doing, and one of the most popular guesses from analysing Ardata's personality is that she's Derse/Heart, so there's some symmetry with the concealed signs there.
Hiveswap Friendsim may be an example of timeline fuckery outside SBurb. We've seen on a couple of different occasions things which contradict each other regarding which route is canon; the PC makes reference to Polypa as their friend in a later sim, but also runs into a purpleblood who was only encountered in Polypa's bad ending. I wonder if this is intentional...
When all five-to-eight games are out (we know Hiveswap is four acts, can't remember if Hauntswitch was confirmed as same) do you think there'll be one troll for every extended zodiac sign? Or one character for every classpect?
Spoiler: classpect guesses so far Ask me for further deets. Diemen: Thief of Hope. Ardata: Maid of Heart. Cirava: Rogue of Hope. Amisia: Thief of Mind. Skylla: either Rogue or Sylph of Time. Bronya: Knight of Breath. Tagora: Thief of Space. Vikare: Page of Mind. Polypa: Thief of Breath. Zebruh: Bard of Doom. Elwurd: Witch of Hope. Kuprum: Knight of Hope. Folykl: Witch of Void. Remele: Rogue of Space. Konyyl: probably Rogue or possibly Knight of Light. Chixie: Maid of Mind. Tyzias: Witch of Blood. Azdaja: Prince of Mind. Chahut: Seer of Hope. Zebede: Page of Light. Tegiri: Prince of Void.
I wanna know the thoughts for Chixie mostly bc I just really like Chixie and I like hearing what people have to say about her in all things :P also, I'm curious about Skylla in the way of, since you have two possibilities, I'm curious what parts you think are more inclined towards either class, if that makes sense?
my personal crack theory: the player character is a Time aspect person and somehow is creating weird timeline effects a maybe more plausible theory?: something involving like. Doc Scratch, or the Handmaid and her Time powers. either way it sort of feels like to some extent All Things Are Happening all possible timelines exist in this timeline! somehow
