Zero/Fieth was never just Zero<3Fieth. It was always that vacillating with Zero<3<Fieth. On both their parts. Fiethsing may be ever cheerful but she does find her wife deeply fucking irritating in a variety of ways.

I just reread Digger yesterday and first Digger <> Murai (I think it was good for Digger too, Murai helped push her in the right direction when she was being too pragmatic.) and later Murai <> Jhalm. Jhalm, as Boneclaw Mother said, needs to be watched so he doesn't Righteous all over people. But he does think he's doing good and genuinely cares for Murai, and feels guilty for what happened to her. So him looking after her re: the whole goddess thing now that his head's partially out of his ass, and her making sure it stays that way.

Samurai Champloo was one of the first anime I ever fell in love with. Watching it for the first time in over a decade on Netflix, it works perfectly as a ash romantic comedy.

Which is weird considering they're supposed to like each other, but TwiPie, AppleDash, and Rarity/Fluttershy have all had episodes focusing on their rivalries. Twilight and Pinkie clash over their differences, Fluttershy and Rarity and Applejack and Rainbow over their similarities.
