If anyone needs help with biology I am here and eager to help! :) I like explaining biology stuff to people!
Homework resources (I'm doing a lot of revision atm because exams, and these are some things that help): White/ambient noise: Coffitivity Star Trek ambience Mass Effect Normandy CIC ambience Storm ambience for iPhone / in browser Customisable white noise generator Productivity/pomodoro method: Tomato timer UnFuck Your Habitat app (has a work timer) for iPhone / for Android Study resources: Wolfram Alpha (computational search engine) Khan Academy (~10 min educational videos organised by subject) Word Reference (very good online translation dictionary) Also don't underestimate the goodness of decaf tea and coffee.
adding anothe white/ambient noise one Noisli also i found MOG^3 to be supremely helpful for concentrating, because its kindof a mix of ambient noise with bits of melody, also i layered it and ambient noise and it was great. (MOG^3 is also on bandcamp, and blackholeKG can link you to beforus album downloads if wanted)

Was that an intentional double post for emphasis/bro hmu i want to talk about biology or was it completely unintentional?
Mynoise.net literally saves my brain at work. also, EB, tysm for the Normandy CIC link, that's great.
anyone got any good resources about the black plague/plague doctors? I'm writing an essay and would like more sources than I have.
I read Justinian's Flea a while back, and found it pretty interesting, as a look at the first bubonic plague pandemic in Europe. (In the 6th century, affecting the Eastern Roman Empire among other areas.) Not sure if that's outside your area of research. Can't find the source, but I've found meta on the plague doctor costume really interesting. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plague_doctor_costume Like, the plague doctor outfit was a hazmat suit. They didn't know what caused disease, so they threw in protection against everything they could think of. Bad smells cause disease? Cool, we'll put on a mask full of really smelly stuff. Evil eye causes disease? Cool, we'll use red glass lenses, those protect against the evil eye. Add on a giant raincoat and a stick to poke things, so we can stay as far from the plaguey bits as possible.
awesome, thanks I have a five page creative writing paper, with footnotes, and I'm writing like a diary type thing from a plague doctor
