He then proceeds to read every single one of them to see if there's anything funny in there. He is in no way discouraged by the fact that the first one is "Sleep deprivation and dehydration from reading Machine of Death readings for four days straight."
I can't think of an appropriate death for Karkat, except maybe BLOOD, but I'm not sure how I'd kill him then.
