of all the things that's got me reading fanfic beyond what my friends write it's trying to hunt down good gay content of Solaire from Dark Souls I

there's not as much of it as one might like, although the majority of the Chosen Undead/Solaire fics seem to be gay, which is nice
(there's all of 23 of them, total, once i've pruned out crossovers and anything tagged Major Character Death)

I sorted out some boxes of books i brought from my parents' back in January and organised my main downstairs bookshelves a little and i'm. pretty pleased with the result given I was working with pretty limited space. It is full of things that please me to look at, and you can still access most of the books with minimal effort. Comments on bookshelf welcome. Pls admire bookshelf.

top shelf on the right (closest to camera) is historical and general nonfiction/humour
the two shelves below are specifically ancient greek and roman writing, primary and secondary sources (with a couple of norse saga books at the beginning)
two shelves below that are fiction (most of my fiction is still back at my parents')
the bottom shelf is fandom/geeky nonfiction (and a little bit of overflow fiction), so books about star trek, lotr, comics etc

the entire left-hand shelving and everything stacked in front is my collection of books about the supernatural/paranormal/mythological/generally esoteric
