I don't know if this is all of the USA or just Texas, but I'm pretty sure ice cream standards are way lower than other places. The idea of calling something a frozen novelty is hilarious considering lots of fast food places around here add instant potato flakes to their ice cream recipe to stretch it and it's still considered "ice cream"
They add potato flakes. Like "instant mashed potatoes" potato flakes. It's cheaper and keeps the icecream from melting really fast
you also see “frozen dairy dessert” a lot on freezer shelves in the US. I think maybe it has to do with how much corn syrup or thickening agent they use?
Apparently this flavor has been out for a while and I'm just now seeing it, but. I don't like it. It's not full leaning to cursed but I don't like the implications Yes it's an actual real flavor launched late January and not shopped
ngl i love that and i want to try and recreate it. maybe with fake skeleton key charms! would make a hell of a steampunk look.
