Hello everybody, I'm Sam. i'll now stop it with the correct capitals and punctuation, but i hope the effort in the first bit is appreciated. about me: my pronouns are he/him (great) and they/them (aight). i'm a queer undergrad student from germany, studying literature in the UK. i try to speak three languages and frequently forget all of them. i have very little life experience (early 20s, easy life so far), so the occasional dumbassery may occur. i found kintsugi by browsing tumblr. it seemed like a good place for me to talk to people who share some experiences -- i'm a baby trans, i have depression and i'm like 90% sure i have some form of executive dysfunction related brainweird going on. so, yknow, community support and all that. i'm also happy to make friends unrelated to any of the above things :) i'm very into dragon age and D&D, so those make good conversation topics. i'm enthusiastic about fanfiction and i have an AO3 where i've published some of mine. i also cosplay now and then; if i get comfy here, i might share my cosplay instagram because i'm a show-off and a cutie. but for now, i'll likely lurk a lot bc new groups of people are a Thing for me. this is turning rather long, so i'll stop here. hope everyone's having an acceptable day, maybe even a good one!
welcome! :D i am also a big fan of d&d (though i mostly play pathfinder these days) and dragon age-- i'm actually replaying DA2 right now, streaming for a friend who hasn't played it (and letting her choose who we flirt with!) and it's been really fun to see the game through fresh eyes again. the d&d thread is pretty active, and the dragon age thread goes through its quiet phases but it's always ok to revive threads here.

i don't write as much as i'd like, but i've done one fic for homestuck and voltron each and i have a !verse going on for dragon age that's about the characters of my saturdays dragon age tabletop rpg campaign (it has like 30k words spread over a bunch of shorts). and one bit of D&D oc smut. as for cosplay, that's homestuck! i've done kurloz, hussie, the mayor, sollux and rose. im branching out this year with a resident evil zombie for MCM May and an alien spacebat (from Fallen London / echo bazaar) for mcm october. i also want to cosplay dragon age (zevran's ridiculous crow armour or the m!antaam-saar) but armour crafting is incredibly daunting :// and i've got some stuff for a hetalia cos and a soul eater cos in the back of my wardrobe, but those are on the back burner. so yeah mainly homestuck so far.
Oh man, Homestuck cosplay is a blast! I’m actually reprising my Roxy cosplay at the con I’m going to next weekend!
absolutely! the german homestucks i socialised with at cons were a fun bunch and i met one of my best friends via that. i can't go to the cons there now since im in england 3/4 of the year but man it was a good time. hope you have fun next weekend!
