every so often i have the realization that i could listen to a new song every day for the rest of my life and never run into the same song twice and it's awesome. it's great. there's so much music.

 

interesting dinner idea i had: i'm slow cooking some chicken (seasoned w/ seasoned salt, garlic salt, onion powder, chili powder, paprika) in ramen soup mix, i've added in 2 eggs to hard boil part way in, and i'm gonna cook the ramen in the broth from the chicken + eggs once that's done, shred the chicken, and doll it up from there

this should be good :D

 

it tasted good! i'll probably cook the eggs less and add more water at the start next time

 

reached 1500 Tears for Fears scrobbles today, they're also my top artist on last.fm!!

yesterday Tears for Fears put out the first ever expanded edition of their album The Seeds of Love!! a 50 song, 4.5h long super deluxe edition.

i listened to the whole thing this morning on spotify. the Townhouse Live Jam Session tracks at the end of the 4th disc are some of my favorites, along with Mix 2 of Johnny Panic And The Bible of Dreams on the 2nd disc

Snakes & Arrows by Rush on CD

found this on ebay for $5, which is the cheapest i'd ever seen it. i now only need to collect Feedback and Clockwork Angels to have Rush's entire studio discography on cd.

when i got my 1st copy of Roll the Bones (7 82293-2) at Goodwill while living in NH, i noticed there was a 2nd Roll the Bones cd in the same case when i went to play it at home. i actually just left that double stacked in the case for some reason until i moved out here with Morgan and she gave me an empty case to put it in.

i realized this now may leave you wondering "what about the other one in the case? the 83737-2 one?"
