I've been reading Kagerou since at least 2005, when I was a tiny sheltered homeschooler who - well, I was going to say "winced every time someone said 'fuck'" but actually now that I think about it I had already learned that from Inuyasha translations on Sengoku O-togi Zoushi and was using it copiously (inside my head, where my parents couldn't hear). It gave me an insatiable desire to read/write/draw stories involving monsters, dead people, dead people who are monsters, etc.

Favourite part: Tcaolin's origin story, I can't even.

Favourite thing: The soda can. I don't care if I have to wait another ten years to find out what happened, 'cause just seeing it is exciting enough. Every time it shows up I'm like "oh man, oh boy, this is going to be SO HORRIBLE :D :D :D"

Um. Anyway. I am very excited and I am going to stop now.

 

I need to re-read Kagerou... Your art is such a huge inspiration to me.

 

I started reading it yesterday and I plan on continuing because I was hooked in about three pages. I love it so far.

Well, I say "everyone," but it's only certain characters who are impacted. Most people keep their own.

 

Agreed; the only comic I can think of that does so as well is gunnerkrigg court.

Anyway, I'm a relative newbie, didn't discover Kagerou until... Actually right before the Kagerou Project Vocaloid kids took over your tag. I should reread but I have a lot of things like that. I do remember disinctly going YES, THAT IS MY COMBAT STYLE re: the flying sword, though. That is entirely my combat style and remains such.

So, favorite character, favorite part, favorite ships, theories, ANYTHING????????

 

I just really love Kano and I want him to be happy and safe. My favorite parts are any ones with Heyoka in them. I don't have any ships really - maybe Tonbo and the nick? They're pretty cute. I don't have any coherent theories right now, but I probably will soon.

Also, I know I've seen the gold-backgrounded backstory bit somewhere before, but I can't recall how or where. But I definitely remember thinking that it was one of the coolest things I'd ever seen, both art and story wise.

 

NGL my Ultimate Hair Goal is "Kano Hair" complete with shoelace ponytail.

 

Tbh I really want to look like Kano. He's so pretty.

 

Kano is super pretty. So pretty. It's unfair, really.

 

Oh yeah and Red is quite possibly my favorite villain ever. Good job.
