Moss does clothes out of habit mostly. Although Moss will probably avoid the springs - it isn't so much a question of waterproofing, because they are, but rather a question of not being all that buoyant. Some people swim across a lake; Moss walks into the lake, continues walking, and at some point reaches the other side, having found some cool rocks and possibly made a friend of tiny fish.
I feel like I need more backstory/need to be more interesting. ...nope I'm definitely going the mysterious crumbs of backstory route à la Cecil Palmer. Yup. Uh huh.
Yes, but mostly as an emergency "fuck, I am in water, do not want!!!" mechanism. Unfortunately, this mostly means swimming pools, in urban areas. Which is more depressing than I was going for. :\
Uh, recent research says they're better at getting out than you would expect! So that's... something! I'M SORRY FOR DERAILING THE THREAD WITH SAD THINGS.
Wes will save the flailing mouse/flying/thingy that can talk? Wait, is Wes doing the understanding things other people don't understand thing again? It's not Wes' fault that he can talk to stars, they sound pretty and they sing :)
this plan owes itself largely to a particular advantage it presents: I can come up with it in little bits and pieces... :P
I feel like we have a good mix of people with actual backstories and then people with bits and pieces
Y'all move too fast for me - so I'm making an avatar and will post it once I've tweaked it (so in DAYS or more since I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my CGI) and let y'all mangle it with words :)
FLAILY SQUEAKING. Heh, Albedo doesn't really talk much out loud. Mostly typing! So it's mostly flaily squeaking to the effect of HELP. :)
naw i should have an absolutely terrible bot with weirdly fortuitous timing, and name THAT pickle. the swimmy rescue bot is named surimi. because it floats in the waterways like narutomaki in ramen, dig? it has a large float with a sort of conical basket hat that is partially submerged and easy to grip. it moves towards sounds of distress and splashing. once there's a bat's worth of weight on the crown of the 'hat', it moves toward the nearest shore. very simple bot. very durable. painted with a cheerful red and white spiral design. NOT FOOD THOUGH VOID I'M SERIOUS.
