It is wicked cool. @wes scripserat imagine yours putting a wig on. just randomly remembers, humans have hair. Huh, what's this? *tries on wig*
@sicknastyspades I know I said so earlier already but I would also like to reiterate that I'D SUPER LOVE IF YOU DREW MY TINY FAE CHILD :D
If SS has a PayPal, there is a site where you can get a button to donate enough to buy a coffee! (i have one in my Sig) it is pretty handy for tips
@Bel Capricorn @IvyLB @jacktrash Yep, I'll draw all of you! I think Ivy's next on the list, actually. (I'm trying to do it in order of who asks beccause otherwise I rush to draw the ones with interesting designs and procrastinate on the ones I'm not so excited by, and then people get left out.) I will. Consider a tip jar. Even though that idea got me super ridiculously flustered. I've been mostly thinking about this in terms of I'm a five-year-old running up to the grown-ups with a piece of scribbled-on paper all like LOOK LOOK WHAT I DID!! and they pat me on the head and tell me it's very nice. It takes a while to switch gears from thinking of it as an irritating habit which people politely tolerate.
... i just have to drop in again and say that i just cannot get over @wes scripserat's design. like. fuck man. shit. so. cool. augh. man. you did an incredible job, spades. @jacktrash is right: delightful prezzies indeed. like seriously you drew me. i think a total of like three people have ever drawn me. it makes me giddy. i wanna buy you a donut.
THESE ARE JUST GOOFY DOODLES I DO AS WARM-UPS BEFORE I WORK ON ACTUAL ART i am going to work now and when I come back I will have stopped feeling weird about the idea of people liking a thing I did. This KEEPS HAPPENING. You would think I would be used to it by now but no, it's weird and embarrassing every time.
Yeah, uh, seconded on "want to buy you a thing", @sicknastyspades I mean, if a five year old ran up to me with pictures like these, I would steal them and pretend I drew them (which would make me a terrible person but then I would fund their college fund with the money I got from the pictures, and then they'd go to art school and then -) got a bit off track there, anyway, you draw good. b>.<d isn't that a ridiculous thumbs up sign? i love it
Seriously, these are your warm ups? They're really gorgeous (I can't get over mine, it's so cute and perfect and amazing, and also the second time someone has seriously drawn me) :D
@emythos Sort of warm-ups? I mean, sometimes they're the only thing I draw in a day and I don't know whether it counts as warming up if you don't do anything afterwards. But they're the sort of thing I like to draw to work the cobwebs out before I do anything serious, and it's more fun to draw you guys than it is to try to figure out what to doodle by myself. Okay, I am vaguely considering a tip jar as something which might exist possibly. All I know about Paypal is that it is the magic button I press to buy things online. So, problem: my Paypal's got my real name attached to it, and y'all guys are great and all but I have pretensions of anonymity. Is there a way I can set up the tip jar reciept or whatever to tell you you gave money to Ess Ess or something, or would I have to change the actual name on the account?
I imagine the segments to be covered in velvet, except for the edges which need to be metalic to move smoothly on each other. (Yes you could cover the whole kitteh in velvet but then you donĀ“t see the cool robotness!)
@littlemissCodeless Deepest apologies, but robot-kitty shall never be petted by Mirrors not if velvet is involved (velvet is my BIGGEST texture issue it makes my teeth water I am apology)
Hmm, purrhaps we need some other models. How about snythetic fur? Would still be quite short, else it gets caught in the joints. Or you can volunteer for petting the uncovered metal kitties. They need love too.
Some types of synthetic fur will get me, but I will always pet the uncovered metal kitties for certain. =D
