WE DAMN WELL DO ahem currently the only canon around this is that Kay DJs parties on Friday nights at @wixbloom's tea shop, and Bloom does refreshments and cocktails for the occasion. I suspect the shop may double as a bar after hours. Not sure who's bartending though.
I don't know what that format means. Is it special? Does it mean something I couldn't guess? Am I already doing everything wrong?
Finally got around to writing a profile for Scheherazade. An interesting tidbit that I wound up coming up with while writing it: while Holy Gate has a lot of things in its maze of rooms- damn near anything, really- there is one thing that doesn't appear to be present in any of them. Windows that open. It has lots of windows of varying types, but absolutely none of them open. This may or may not be significant.
Out to the rest of Kintsugi, you mean? The front door is the only one that's always there, but you find others from time to time.
There is a small pink fluffbeast wandering around the station. No one is quite sure if it's a cat, a weasel, a fox, or some kind of combination of all three. Sometimes it needs hands or wants to say things out loud and takes a humanoid form that is pretty similar to Blair from Soul Eater, only with bright neon pink hair and less of a pumpkin theme. If she forgets to have clothes on in this form, feel free to throw some at her, remembering all the bits of a transformation is tricky enough when you're not getting distracted halfway through. If she's anywhere findable, which is not always the case, it's probably at the bar with a Singapore Sling, reading or writing or painting little wargames miniatures. She apparently arrived in a giant robot battlesuit, but isn't particularly good at actually fighting things with it.
Holy Gate is starting to remind me of Leonard Cohen's Take This Waltz: Now in Vienna there's ten pretty women There's a shoulder where Death comes to cry There's a lobby with nine hundred windows There's a tree where the doves go to die There's a piece that was torn from the morning, And it hangs in the Gallery of Frost
Yessss. Like, I'm sort of forming the impression that the Library is more the modern high-tech sci-fi biomechanical eldritch building, whereas Holy Gate is more the old-style magical ancient power eldritch building. It winds up at more or less the same point, but the ways of getting there are different.
Now I´m imagining Pinkie wearing a different style every time you see them human. One day it´s a frilly skirt, the next it´s jeans and t-shirt. then it´s Cody´s spare bathrobe. (also frilly)
Ivy probably stores spare clothes for everyone in the station so if Pinkie transforms and forgets clothes anywhere near their workshop there will probably fly clothes out of the window or door.
