Nix has had a body for- a while? Probably? It hasn't figured out how the eyes things works but it does look good it clothes. And it definitely has an affinity with those void kitties that have been running about recently.

I just read through this entire thread, is there room for a daring star ship captain to resupply the colony?

 

What would the top size range for a space ship entering the kintsugi system be? I know i read that the horrifying technomagic has a penchant for punching things out of the sky if it doesn't like how they look. For reference, I'm planning on my ship (Infinite Leap) being around 2000 - 2500 feet long, so a little under half a mile long. Its a converted passenger ship, with most of the former rooms turned into cargo or shuttle storage. The ship has facilities to safely transport everything from livestock embryos/cloning equipment to large scale mining machines in its main hold. It has room for about 50 passengers now, thought it could have carried far more in its previous life. Not sure how big a capital ship would be considered honestly, I'd usually put them at around 2+ miles long?

Also, whats the space like around the kintsugi system? I've had the image of a blue nebula filled with clouds of water ice for a while now, and that could be a fun way to give planet kintsugi a blue sky with clouds and still have the space theme, especially if its on the edge of the nebula, then it would only have a blue sky for half of its rotation.

[Edit:] Also, what would everyone like from the first cargo haul? I can fairly reasonably take most things along, as long as they wouldn't be unduly expensive. He tends to preform a bit of salvage from time to time when he can get away with it, so it shouldn't be too hard to say that things were found, or whatever if they're a bit more odd, like ship components or something.

 

*really REALLY wants to make the time to make another radio episode because goddamn if the arrival of a massive ship from parts unknown wouldn't make for fantastic radio*

 

So that would be about as long as The Enterprise in TNG for comparison, though it would only get to around 750 feet wide, and it narrows to about 50 feet wide at the bow. I need to draw this out.
