(Isn't Tamlen seen in DAO if you have the mahariel origin? After the joining I mean) >you need my help
Yeah, her story sounds sort of different than what we saw happening in DA:O? I'm gonna chalk it up to sequel weirdness, but (shrug)
How did she GET that thing to Kirkwall, anyway? Like, if the Keeper was hostile to them bringing it along, she couldn't have put it in their stuff, because it's a mirror taller than a person. Kind of hard to hide.
Well I think she started with a fragment. Plus that mirror looks pretty different from the original one in the mahariel origin right? Why she rebuilt it to have the branches is anyone's guess.
Spoiler: talking about spoilers i've heard about but don't know for sure about this sounds like it might be how merrill gets into blood magic. dangerous mirror, special tools...
I mean, she's already into blood magic. She says that's what she used to repair it, that's how she fights, she uses it when you first meet her to get you up the mountain...
>I'll help. Spoiler: Codex - Merrill - After the Deep Roads "It's a Keeper's place to remember! Even the dangerous things." Since her arrival in Kirkwall's elven alienage, Merrill has had difficulty adjusting. Her neighbors ignore her existence, and even the most determined socialites in Lowtown cross the street to avoid her. She also gets lost frequently, a matter that doesn't seem to be solving itself through time or familiarity with the city; on separate occasions, she has accidentally found herself in the viscount's bathing room, the chantry airing cupboard, and in the middle of a dog racing track in Darktown. I grabbed Aveline and Isabela because, well, bringing Fenris might be a poor choice for our relationship with Fenris, and I love every Isabela/Merrill interaction, so. ? 'Scuse me, folks, I'll come back for you later but right now I've got other business.
Did I need this for something?? It's got a quest icon. Well, now I've stolen it. I'll keep an eye out, Hahren Paivel. Oo, an armor upgrade for Merrill AND a gift for her? :3 Hello, Ke- Oh I accidentally clicked on Aveline. Yes, very true, Aveline. Keeper, let's talk. >_?
> You can do this, Merrill. (Unrelated: My brain read "Rune of Nature" and started thinking "RUNE OF NATURE! RUNE OF NATURE!" to the tune of that one song from Metal Gear Solid. :::PPP )
>You can do this, Merrill. My dad happened to walk past me for this, the most Fantasy Gibberish-filled segment of the game in some time. He looked confused. >Investigate >What's going on? don't call me your chiiiild >Investigate >What is an arulin'holm? Yes, that much was clear from what Merrill said, thanks. >_?
